Sai has been working as an intern at the NAIB for a year, attempting to follow in the footsteps of his twin brother Zeph who is already Ryker's assistant. The situation is not ideal due to the Callassan government's clumsy attempts to fix employment stats which means Sai is, for all intents and purposes, largely redundant within the business. This has only built into his own existing feelings of inadequacy which have, over time, resulted in him becoming increasingly jealous and bitter towards his colleagues including his brother.
Idealistic to a fault, Sai idolises Jakob while only seeing his successes and not taking into account the failures and pressures that came before them. He's a perfectionist and panics easily when plans start to fall apart. Outside of work, Sai enjoys singing and the times he becomes lost in his music are the few moments when he truly remembers how to relax.
